Why use career coaching?
We spend so much of our time at work, and if we have any issues in that area, it can easily feel like it is taking over everything else in our lives. How career coaching works
The Coach Approach has developed a career coaching process to help you. We will:
- Find out what you really want, and discover what your reasons for working are, at this point in your career
- Find your transferable skills and work out how you can apply them to other jobs and careers
- Clarify your core work values and what is important to you at work.
All the above are vital activities to help you figure out what is and what is not important to you in whatever you choose to do next, and will inform your approach to your CV and your job applications to make sure they reflect your key skills, expertise, experience and qualities.
During the career coaching process, you will set goals to work towards and establish when you would like to make the changes by, and I will give you every possible support and guidance to help you choose the right career. Should you need a little work to build up your self-belief and self-confidence, I would be more than happy to give you Personal Development Coaching as part of your sessions to assist you in this area.
Career coaching sessions
The initial consultation is free and will take place over the phone or internet. I will listen to your situation, and talk you through how Career Coaching works, how it could benefit you and what will happen at our sessions. I will also talk you through how many sessions you might need, as programmes are tailor made for each person, and we’ll discuss the fees. You will feel properly listened to, by someone who is positive and committed to your success, and you will feel supported and encouraged to make goals and stick to them.
Subcequent coaching sessions take place in my office, your home, your workplace or a mutually convenient venue. Alternatively they can be over the internet using the latest business meeting software systems.
