Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapy is a relaxing and very effective psychotherapeutic therapy which utilises the latest understandings of the brain to help people make significant change in short periods of time.
It is considered the most effective psychotherapeutic tool available for breaking negative states such as depression and anxiety.
The therapy is future orientated, and therefore focuses on where you are now and what you want to achieve, rather than analysing the past. This is different from many other types of therapy. We can’t change the past and whilst I respect things that have happened in the past I will focus our attention on where you want to be. It is now widely recognised that going over past events is not helpful in moving forward.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is based on the latest neuro-scientific research and has a wealth of empirical evidence confirming its effectiveness.
During an initial consultation, I will gather information from you about your current circumstances and how you would like to move forward. I will explain how the brain works, based on the latest brain-based research, and why it is we can suffer in the way that we do from anxiety disorders, depression, fears and phobias, OCD, and so on.
I will then show you how we will get back on top of things by bringing out the very best in you and putting you back in control of your life.
